Here we are! Another year, another blog! Times have changed and so has the school day, but that has not stopped year 3 working extremely hard since coming back to school!
In maths, we have just finished our first unit of learning which was time. The children learned how to tell the time on analogue and digital clocks as well as learning how to read the time to nearest 5 minutes! This week we will begin teaching place value, so we will see how we get on!
In writing and reading we have looked at three different stories all about refugees. Using this we have been teaching the children how to write a non-chronological. This week we will be writing the report, so check back here for some pictures of our fantastic writing! It will be all about ACE at Valentine, but also how ACE works in Emmanuel’s Dream.
We will also be making some of our own refugee masks this week too! So these will be posted to here once they are complete!
